Vice President, Planning & Culture, National Football League

Alissa Lieppman is Vice President, Planning & Culture for the NFL’s Los Angeles office. She brings over 16 years of experience in consulting, digital and sports marketing, strategy development, and relationship management. After spending 10 seasons building a strategy consulting group to support the 32 NFL clubs through the rise of digital and social media, she transitioned to the people side of the business in early 2020. She now focuses on advancements in team culture initiatives, internal communications and education, and works in partnership with staff and senior leaders across the League to champion key initiatives that involve NFL staff.
Alissa is passionate about building positive relationships in the workplace and currently co-chairs the NFL’s Parents Initiative Network, an ERG focused on supporting working parents within the NFL and bringing to life “Football is Family”. Especially during these pandemic times, having a strong support network has never been more important, and she is an active member in all of the ERGs in the LA office including the Womens Interactive Network, Black Engagement Network, Asian Pacific Exchange, and Community Teammates to name a few. Recently, Alissa has helped to support the NFL’s response to racial and social injustices. She was selected to join a newly formed internal DEI Committee for Media & Business, serving on two sub-committees focused on establishing baseline diversity metrics and goals as well as advancement opportunities for BIPOC staff.
As a woman working in the sports industry, Alissa is appreciative of the mentorship and sponsorship of both male and female leaders. She strives to share that same support with others while contributing to building a diverse and inclusive culture. She is passionate about career development, networking, and education for young professionals – Alissa mentors aspiring leaders within the NFL organization and is also an active mentor within the Career Advantage Program at USC Marshall School of Business.
She is a proud alumnae of USC and lives in Long Beach, CA with her husband, 1 year old daughter, and chocolate lab. When not in a pandemic, she enjoys singing with the all-female a cappella group she founded in 2011 (Lolas Music), traveling with family and friends, and exploring new coffee shops.
